LoсoTech-Signal and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy held the first stream conference "Digital solutions for rail transport"

On October 15, within the framework of Transport Week in Kazakhstan, a joint stream conference of LocoTech-Signal and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy was held dedicated to the ceremonial launch of the Mailytogay station, Kyzylarda distance, equipped with the latest CTRL@LOCK 400 interlocking system.

The meeting, which was held in a mixed format (offline + online), was attended by more than 40 best experts of the railway industry, heads of services and departments of KTZ, leaders of industrial companies, representatives of engineering institutes, developers and integrators of digital solutions for rail transport.

General Director of LocoTech-Signal Andrey Romanchikov and Deputy Chairman of the Transport Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Zhanibek Taizhanov made a welcoming speech at the event, after which a teleconference with the Kazylorda signaling and communication distance started.

Special guests of the event were representatives of KTZ, including chief engineer Batyr Kotyrev, as well as traffic safety director Marat Shakenov.

The participants discussed the role of digital intelligent technologies and innovative products for the railway industry, talked about successful cases with their implementation, discussed the prospects for modernizing existing infrastructure and increasing rail throughput.

Within the framework of the conference, a roadmap was signed for the implementation of remote video monitoring systems when train runs in reverse CTRL@VISION 100 WE. This solution is based on CTRL@VISION machine vision technology and built on trained neural networks.

The parties intend to create working groups, hold joint meetings, as well as carry out other activities that will be necessary for the implementation of joint tasks.

Based on the results of the interaction, it is planned to conduct trial operation of the            CTRL@VISION 100WE system at the pilot site. If the system confirms the declared security level, a decision will be made on further replicating the system on the KTZ network.
